Blog It Forward: What Inspires Me
Hello lovelies. Today I'm posting for day two of our blogger mash-up, following Poppytalk's wonderful post from yesterday. When I first started putting this together I was a bit nervous, but now I couldn't be more excited to share what brings me inspiration. However, it was quite hard to put all that inspires me into one post.
Before I share, I want to give a BIG thank you to Victoria of SFGIRLBYBAY. Her vision of bringing bloggers together came to life even bigger than anyone (including her) expected. Enjoy my post, along with all of the other 300 + bloggers posts over the next few months.

Traveling: I went on my first plane ride when I was three weeks old and I’ve loved traveling since. I feel lucky to have traveled all over the world when I was younger. My parents didn’t mind taking me out of school to go on one of our many excursions. I probably learned more in a week traveling through the Mexican jungles, the Artic Circle and Alaska’s Elephant Cove than I did in school.
One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting new people, experiencing the different cultures each country has and attempting to speak a new language (that sometimes doesn’t go over very well). Even when I’m traveling within the U.S. my heart skips a beat boarding a plane. It’s like my heart knows that I’m going somewhere.
I will forever have a place in my heart for traveling.

My Fiancé: I can honestly say that I don't know what I would do without Eric. He is my soulmate, best friend and soon-to-be husband. We know more about each other than anyone else (well, except for his twin of course). No one can make us laugh harder than each other. Since the first time we met my Freshman year of high school, I knew I met someone special and here we are almost ten years later getting married. He inspires me everyday to do what I love. I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
Home: After a long day of work, there's nothing I love more than coming home. As I walk through the door I get a sense of happiness, calmness and then my mind is at ease (which doesn't happen often with the wedding two months away). "Home is where the heart is" rings true to me.
I hope all of you enjoyed getting to know what inspires me. Now I'm blogging it forward to Julia at San Diego Songbirds. I can't wait to check out her post. And thank you again Victoria for putting numerous hours into making this happen for all of us. Without you none of this would have happened!

Tenacious Textiles - One of my favorite things to do is walk the city. Go to Pacific Heights if you want to look at beautiful architecture. My favorite restaurants are Bar Jules, Out the Door, Pizzeta 211 and Osteria. Oh, and make sure you go on lots of hikes in Tennessee Valley. Let me know if you want any more recommendations.
Alexandra - Our photographer is Erin Beach (www.erinbeach.com). She's incredible.
