Hello, October

Tomorrow I'm off to Portland for the weekend. I thought it was appropriate for the first October post to represent the essence of fall; the leaves changing colors and falling from the trees. There's even a part of me that hopes it rains this weekend. I'd love to spend the day inside reading a book, drinking a cup of tea and spending time with my mom.
