A Pop of Color: Teal

Here in the San Francisco the weather is crisp and the sky is bright blue. This is my favorite type of weather. You can wear chunky knits and knee-high boots but you’re not wet, like I would be if I still lived in the Pacific Northwest. With the sky shining bright I couldn’t resist posting a picture of this room. The teal wall makes all of the furniture in the room pop. I’m a huge fan of dark teal with neutrals and brown. The white cube in the foreground with the lamp is a great idea. I need to remember that the next time I’m redecorating my living room, but I think the brown and ivory ikat pillow on the couch should really be in my apartment. If only it could be…

With chunky sweaters on the brain, I couldn’t resist posting this photo by Irene Penny, especially with the water and blue sky behind the model.

Yes I love that sunny crisp not wet weather great for boot wearing. Love teal, especially in clothes. Interesting for a wall colour, had not thought of that....

I love teal ... I'm going through a bit of a teal/turquoise/duck-egg blue kind of week ... as I am compiling fabric samples for a project.
That wall looks great!

I used to live in the Bay Area ... and miss it very much!
I think I'll be back ...
Have a great weekend!
