and the verdict is . . .
After spending WAY too many hours staring at both paint samples (ozark shadows and harbor gray) we've finally made a decision. First, I wanted to show all of you the photo that started this entire endeavor of finding the perfect gray for my apartment. I fell in love with this living room the moment I laid eyes on it and I think we chose the perfect gray to make my vision come true ...
Harbor gray! It's a lot cleaner, bright and cheery. We painted little samples on every single wall in our apartment (there aren't that many - we live in a studio). While the ozark shadows is a fabulous gray, we felt as though it would make our already tiny apartment look smaller, and it just didn't compare to the harbor gray brightness. But we did change one thing . . . we're going to paint the kitchen the same color as the bathroom. The galveston gray turned out amazing - without question it's incredible. So, this got us going back to our original inkling of painting the kitchen a little darker, and sure enough it looks fabulous. From the living room you can see how the kitchen will pop and look ten times better.
The entire apartment should be painted and done by next week. Stay tuned for photos!
I'd like to give a BIG thank you to everyone for the comments you made. It helped me think about each color in a different way.
