happy weekend!

It's that time in June where all you want to do is throw your hair back, jump in the car and go on a little vacation. Eric and I are off to Seattle for a super mini one night trip to watch the Giants play and celebrate Father's Day with his dad. I can't wait to enjoy the city, go to Pike's Place Market, do a little shopping and best of all, we're staying in the every so lovely Cass' apartment, which I'm excited to see in person! If you have any recommendations of shops to visit, cute areas to walk around in, or restaurants to dine in, please share them.

Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and happy Father's day to all the dad's out there - especially mine!

xx, Caitlin

ps. Check back here Monday for an exciting unveiling of something I've been working on for a long time.

So happy to hear that you will be in Seattle! Be sure to stop by Les Amis, Lamb's Ear, and Totokaelo for clothing and shoes. Go to The Walrus and Carpenter for Oysters and cocktails (must try the Southside Ballard). Get there early --- no resrvations! Also, try to get a table at Sitka and Spruce for brunch, lunch or dinner. The Melrose Market where it is located in a great spot in and of itself. If you can't get in at Sitka, have a drink and a few bites at Bar Ferd'nand. I could go on and on with recommendations! Have fun and I'll look forward to your post. Best, Deb

Sounds like a packed but amazing weekend! I love Seattle but my last visit was far too short. Cassandra's apartment looked so wonderful in Rue.
