Happy Organizing!

Organizing is my task this weekend; I’m cleaning out my closet. Hopefully it will look like Jenna Lyons closet below once I am finished. Granted mine isn’t a room, but it could fit a queen size bed inside. I’m hoping this project will help inspire me on what to pack for my upcoming trip to Paris. Have a great weekend!

Off to Bella Bridesmaid

Since the search for a wedding dress is over, I’ve begun the search for bridesmaid dresses. My vision came to me after I saw Mayor Gavin Newsom’s wedding featured in Town & Country magazine. None of the bridesmaids in their wedding party had the same dress and they alternated colors. I looked far and wide for dresses and finally came across these three beautiful dresses by Lela Rose. I’m off to Bella Bridesmaid to try on the dresses with my Maid of Honor and one of my Bridesmaids.

Sunday Suppers

I've been a little lazy in the kitchen lately but I recently found a new source of inspiration. Sunday Suppers is a class-cooking-dining experience. All of the food is market fresh, local and organic. If I lived in Brooklyn, I'd be attending these classes every week. Unfortunately, I'm all the way on the West Coast. Luckily, these amazing photographs make you feel as though you attended. Enjoy cooking!

A Wonderful Day

Today I woke up to the sun shinning brightly. After spending a beautiful day yesterday with my girlfriends in Calistoga, today I'm having a relaxing dinner with Eric at Cook, my favorite restaurant. A nice glass of wine and their scallop risotto will be a perfect way to celebrate my birthday.

Unofficial Start to Summer

Although summer doesn’t start until June 21st, for me it begins Memorial Day weekend. It’s not only my birthday weekend; it’s the start of barbeque's, day long trips to Calistoga and the city's sporadic sunshine. While the fog rolls in most days, it’s those few beautiful days that San Franciscans cherish. Here are three cheers to the start of summer!

Lady of Leisure

Happy Friday!

When the wind stops and the fog disappears, everyone comes out of their apartments here in San Francisco. It’s this nice weather that makes me want a rooftop sanctuary, where I can read a book, host dinner parties, and just hang out with friends. This one in particular is always in my dreams. I hope one day it will come true, but in the meantime I’ll be enjoying this weather with friends in Tiburon.

Inspiring Workspace

{image from here}

A chic workspace is something I strive to have at my office and at home. I’ve been in the mood to redesign my desk at home. It’s that designer itch that gets in your head and just won’t leave until you do something creative. Here are some of the inspiring pictures that will help guide me this weekend.

A Little Taste of Spring

Empty Mailbox...

My mailbox has been sad the past two months because it hasn’t seen me smile ear to ear when my beloved Domino Magazine arrives in the mail. I use to race up three flights of stairs to get into my apartment so I could jump on my bed and devour every page of the magazine. Twice a year I would go through every issue and tear my favorite rooms and ideas out. Oh, how I regret that now. Little did I know that Domino Magazine would close its doors. I wish I had kept every single issue. I hope you devour this blog, like I did every month with Domino. Enjoy!
