Exactly a year and a half ago I started Sacramento Street – it has evolved into something I’m so very proud of. When I began, all I wanted was a space where I could be creative. It has become that and so much more. I’ve met amazing people through Sacramento Street and I cherish every single friendship I’ve made.
I felt like it was finally time to re-design my blog into the person I’ve become. Over the past year and a half I’ve grown up a lot and wanted my blog to represent who I am now and the direction I am headed in my design career. I had a blast working with Danielle from The Design Girl – I would tell her my vision and she made it come true.
I always love a good story behind certain things, this one has to do with the typefaces I chose for my header. Mrs. Eaves (the Sacramento Street font) in my header was made by John Baskerville (the “Living with Great Style” font). As in the font Baskerville. Sarah Eaves was his housekeeper turned mistress, lol. True story. Thank you Daniella from dress, design, décor for that lovely little story!
Hope you enjoy this new look as much as I do!
