a brand new week . . .

This weekend was all about enjoying friends company and having a lot of downtime to relax at home - these days, that doesn't happen very often. It was just the weekend I needed - seeing girlfriends, cooking at home and opening up a book. It was quite blissful.

A few things I'm loving - a new hand towel, recipes cards (both a birthday present from Mrs E), new wrapping tape, and peonies are everywhere (twitter, instagram and blogs). I couldn't resist posting these beauties because they are making my house smell utterly divine.

Now that June is underway I want to welcome two new sponsors to Sacramento Street - Lo & Sons is back and they've got some incredible new colors and styles (pop back Wednesday for a giveaway with them). And Vero Linens is a brand new sponsor and let me tell you - their sheets are heavenly. It's like going to sleep in a soft cloud. Big thank you to both sponsors for being part of the blog this month.

Have a wonderful Monday friends!

a brand new week . . .

Monday has arrived and although I'm excited for what it has in store, it's a little bittersweet because this weekend was wonderful. It was filled with spending time with family which was blissful, going to my favorite shops that I miss dearly (found a new favorite - Unaand most importantly, celebrating the marriage of my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law - I'm so happy she's officially part of the family. I wish the weekend could have lasted longer.

A few things I've been loving - this stunning fabric we might use in a clients home, an oldie but goodie necklace that I can't stop wearing, windy SF days have called for bundling up with my charcoal scarf and lastly, this stunning notebook was given to me at Catherine Kwong's SF Decorators Showcase soiree (it's already filled with little to-do lists)

Cheers to a new week - I have a feeling it's going to be a good one since a three day weekend is in my future.

a brand new week . . .

This weekend was blissful - days were spent by the pool in Calistoga, dinner at Press was delightful (huge thanks to Sam of Sequin Harvest for the reservation and bubbly) and ending the weekend waking up to find a feature I was anticipating being so much more than I expected. It was incredibly well written and to be on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicles Home & Garden section with my mom on mothers day was so special. To read the full article pop over here.

A few things I'm loving - fresh produce from the farmers market, adding that last layer of jewelry to my daily outfits and my new favorite thing . . . March Pantry's olive oil - drizzle it on anything and it's utterly divine.

How was your mothers day weekend? I hope all of you celebrated the special women in your life.

Cheers to a new week upon us and check back here a little later this morning. I'll be sharing something you won't want to miss.

a brand new week . . .

Cheers to a new week! This weekend was all about enjoying the beautiful weather we were graced with here in San Francisco. I took a walk along the ocean with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, had a successful trip to the flea market with Grant, and ended the weekend with a leisurely afternoon in a stunning rose garden - although it was jam packed, I'm sun kissed and ready to start the week.

A few things I'm loving this week - the new Rodin perfume (it's divine), fresh flowers, and vintage gift wrapping essentials (which were a few of MANY treasures I picked up at the flea market). I wish I could have fit the chairs that I got in this image - pop over to instagram to see.

Hope all of you have a great Monday - our office is off to a all day retreat in Napa!

a brand new week . . .

Monday, a bittersweet day since this weekend was quite magical. It began with a picture perfect brunch with Kinfolk Magazine - from the group of people to the food to the small farmers market they put together, every detail filled my soul with inspiration for what we do on a daily basis here in the creative industry. I feel honored and quite lucky to have attended. Here are a few images I took of the event.
The rest of the weekend was simply lovely. I caught up with my bestie that lives in London, said farewell to a bestie moving to New York and then drove to Marin to bask in the sunshine with my two college girlfriends. Surrounding myself with my favorite ladies this weekend was exactly what I needed to rejuvenate myself. What did you do this past weekend?

Can you believe today is the last day of April? I certainly can't. I hope all of you have a beautiful week ahead. Cheers!

a brand new week . . .

Happy Monday! This weekend I enjoyed quality time with my mom with incredible weather and going to a good friends pop-up shop (where I discovered some pretty amazing treasures). It was quite delightful.

A few things I'm loving - the new issue of Domino just hit the stands last week, which I have yet to have time to sit down to read (hopefully I will tonight), stunning blooms have made our apartment smell like a garden, and this April poem is just lovely (printed by my new favorite book source Book / Shop).

I hope all of you had a blissful weekend and that your week ahead is splendid.

a brand new week . . .

It's a beautiful Monday morning - the picture perfect way to start off the week. This weekend felt as though it was more than two days long. The days felt longer than usual, which made for a very productive weekend. From kicking off baseball season with a fireworks show after the game, to seeing girlfriends, to meeting up with a friend who is redesigning Sacramento Street (so giddy about this) - this weekend fully recharged my battery.

I even had a little time to kick up my feet to read the new issue of Belle, practice my photoshop skills from blogshop and since the sun was shinning bright the entire weekend I got to sport my new sunnies.

How was your weekend? I hope you were all able to take a little time to get some rest. Happy Monday to you friends!

a brand new month . . .

With a new month and week upon us - it feels like a fresh start. Spring cleaning has been accomplished, the laundry is folded and put away and the entire apartment smells like a garden thanks to the flowers Natalie gave me. What makes this week even more special is Eric finally gets from spring training.

A few things I'm loving this week - the new issue of Kinfolk (which is stunning and beautiful), blooms to mark the beginning of spring and a brand new bottle of Rodin hand lotion.

I hope all of you have a creative and productive week ahead.

a brand new week . . .

Cheers to a new week! After spending the weekend enjoying quality time with Eric and warm weather in Arizona, it's back to the daily routine here in San Francisco. I'm not loving the chilly weather - alas hopefully the rain that we're getting will pass quickly.

This week the new Vogue Living Australia is giving me tons of much needed inspiration (even bigger plus, Peggy's feature she shot in this issue is stunning!), my new Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink has me excited to dress up my lips every day, and lastly some Mariage Frères tea to keep me warm.

Have a wonderfully productive week everyone!

a brand new week . . .

Happy Monday! This weekend was all about getting together with friends that were visiting from out of town, running errands and ending the week by heading to the suburbs to celebrate my cousins birthday. It was quite lovely and refreshing - probably because I finally got adjusted to the time change.

This week's inspiration - the new Elle Decoration UK that I picked up at Birch, my Coraggio fabric that I'm excited about incorporating into our apartment, an Astier bird, delicious cocoa brûlée chocolates that I'm obsessed with and lastly a necklace that that I bought a long time ago and am finally incorporating into outfits.

Have a wonderful week - I'll be taking some AutoCAD class this first part of the week. Wish me luck!

a brand new week . . .

This weekend was perfection. I'm not even sure where to begin but if you follow me on instagram you saw it all. An overnight trip to Napa to celebrate Kelley's birthday was above and beyond my wildest dreams  - from staying in a beautiful home nestled next to vines, wine tasting in summer like weather and ending the day with a private dinner cooked by Tyler Florence's culinary director, Tyson. It was stunning, memorable, and lovely to be surrounded by such amazing friends.

A few things I'm loving - my striped Ikea trays that I have throughout our apartment, a new bracelet and camera I picked up at the Alameda flea market, my go-to Rodin hand lotion that I'm addicted to and lastly my poppin ruler (it's come in handy at work).

Thinking positive thoughts for a very productive, busy and happy week ahead!

a brand new week . . .

Bonjour! After spending the entire weekend fighting a cold I'm ready for a week filled with health, happiness and of course a little l-o-v-e. Although I was sick, it sure was lovely spending quality time with Eric at home - he's a saint for taking care of me.

A few things that inspired me as I laid in bed - the new issue of Kinfolk has me quite smittened, I've been incorporating this necklace into a lot of my ensembles, this "LOVE" figurine is perfection for this week and these blooms had me wishing I could smell instead of having a stuffed nose.

Don't forget to enter the Herringbone handbag giveaway! It ends tonight - so pop on over and leave a comment.

Hope all of you have a wonderful and love-filled week!

a brand new week . . .

Good morning! It's time to rise and shine for a beautiful week - remember to smile, be positive and follow your dreams.

These are a few things that inspired me over the weekend - Plenty, a fabulous cookbook that I can't wait to eat my way through, anemones I picked up at the flower market, my business cards that finally arrived and delicious cups of tea that kept me going throughout this weekend.

Wishing all of you a wonderful week!

a brand new week . . .

Morning! Rested and refreshed after a whirlwind week attending Alt Summit, it was wonderful coming home and waking up early to this feature in the San Francisco Chronicle. I was shocked at how large the feature ended up being in print (check out the online version here). I'm incredibly happy with the entire piece and all of your sweet and supportive comments on twitter, Facebook and instagram. It made my heart sing. Thank you friends!

This week I'm definitely starting it off with a skip in my step. Hope all of you have a lovely week ahead!

a brand new week . . .

Happy Monday! It's a cold and rainy day here in San Francisco, which calls for lots of wool layers and tons of tea. After a hectic wedding weekend filled with love and happiness for the married couple, Sunday was purely devoted to decking the halls with Christmas spirit. Eric and I bought a tiny tree and it now smells and feels like the holiday season in the Flemming household.

Thinking positive thoughts for the week that lies ahead. Life is definitely what you make of it.

Enjoy your week everyone!

a brand new week . . .

After an incredible Saturday photographing our apartment the rest of the weekend was all about enjoying some time at home due to the rainy weather. It was delightful.

A few things inspiring me this week - the first issue of Kinfolk was the perfect read before Thanksgiving, blooms for the house (anemones and paper whites), and lastly a trip to Heath Ceramics to pick up a few presents and some dish ware for the apartment.

I hope all of you have a lovely week ahead whether you're prepping for Thanksgiving, traveling to visit family or staying close to home. I can't wait for the holiday weekend - it's going to be so fun!

Cheers to a wonderful short week of work!

a brand new week . . .

After a peaceful weekend with girlfriends up in the woods - I realized how important it is to get out of the city sometimes to slow down your life to enjoy the outdoors and some downtime.

A few things inspiring me this week - I had the pleasure of reading the brand new Anthology and it's amazing (I couldn't put it down), I found this old necklace in my closet that I got at the Alameda flea market a couple years ago (it's definitely going to be making more appearances in my ensembles), with the cooling temps it means that it's scarf season (my favorite accessory), and lastly spending time at CARROTS this week got me utterly inspired - every piece of clothing in the store is on my wish list.

Hope all of you had a fabulous weekend. I've got a hectic week ahead of me, but I'm ready to take it on after this relaxing weekend.

a brand new week . . .

What a delightful weekend! With no agenda going into the weekend it ended up being extraordinary. There was a trip to the flea market with girlfriends - where I found an amazing light fixture and some treasures for Erin as well, lots of coffee dates with friends, a little shopping, and to top it off I went to a friends trunk show for her fall collection. Although I did a lot, it didn't feel hectic at all. And I'm entering a new work week rejuvenated to get my laundry list of to-do's crossed off.

A few treasures that inspired me this week were Nomad by Sibella Court - it's utterly divine (and courtesy of Chronicle Books), hydrangeas that are the most beautiful color, new John Robshaw pillow cases that I've been anxiously waiting for (ours are so faded that the brown is now taupe), a necklace that I could not stop wearing, and lastly my new Astier addition - a candle that smells so good I can't stop burning it. If you're on the hunt for a new candle I highly recommend the Mantes La Jolie.

What did all of you do this weekend? I hope you enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. I certainly did!

Cheers to a new fulfilling week!

a brand new week + a winner . . .

Happy Monday! After a fabulous trip to Dallas this weekend it's nice to be back home and settled back into the daily routine. Some highlights from this weekend were the beautiful Belmont Hotel where we stayed, the incredible food we had at Bolsa and Oddfellows, shopping at some of Joslyn's secret spots around town and going to the Dallas Museum of Art. The best part though was spending some quality time with Joslyn and her family. After going over to her house on Friday night I was incredibly inspired by her home that I wanted to copy everything she's done. I'm in awe!

Now for the winner of the Estée Lauder giveaway . . . . CONGRATS Viviana!

Don't worry readers - I've got another amazing giveaway going live on Wednesday! Believe me, you won't want to miss this one.

Have a lovely week!

a brand new week . . .

This weekend was utterly delightful - spending quality time at home getting items crossed off my to-do list, an impromptu tea time with a girlfriend, and then ending the weekend with a dinner at Kokkari with Erin and our husbands (my mouth is still watering from the delicious food).

As usual, here are some beautiful things that are inspiring me this week; a Chagall print that I got four years ago in Paris, a new mercury decanter for our bar, an antler that I got last year at the flea market, my globe calendar from Prize in Ashland and lastly this amazing tape from Japan that I purchased at Alder & Co in Portland (makes wrapping presents even more fun).

After surviving my first few days of work I'm ready for a full week of productivity. With deadlines looming and tons of projects in the works I'm going to hit the week running until I board my flight Friday to Dallas.

Cheers to a wonderful week ahead!
