kitchen: which one do you adore?

One could say that I'm very particular about my kitchens - I want my future kitchen to be clean, minimalist and ALL white. As my mom and I stood in her kitchen daydreaming about what we would do with it, I began to think of all the possibilities . . . the tile, counter, stove, shelving. The sky is the limit, and there are so many options out there.

So these are a few of our many favorites that we've tagged over the past few months. Some are just vignettes and others are whole kitchens - I'd love to know which you adore.

bed: which one do you adore?

Last night my mom and I were sitting in her new condo discussing what style of bed she should purchase for the guest bedroom - from traditional to antique to modern . . . the possibilities are endless. So after searching for the perfect style I thought it might be fun to have all of you weigh in on your favorite style. Which do you adore the most?

outfit: which one do you adore?

This week I decided that an outfit post for 'which one do you adore?' would be a fun twist to the normal interior focus. Since the weather is growing cooler and cooler every single week, I've been trying to figure out my favorite look for these chiller temps. Whether it's adding a scarf, coat, or sweater to my ensemble - I'm ready to pack on the layers. Have you started thinking about the key pieces you want in your Fall wardrobe?

So which one of these outfits do you adore? I'm loving number one for during the week and number six for weekends. Can't wait to hear what all of you think!

lighting: which one do you adore?

Since the days are getting shorter and darker, I've been thinking a lot about lighting in my apartment lately. Part of the reason is because when you rent you dream of the day you'll finally be able to switch out your lights. The other reason why I've been lusting after lighting is because it's so incredibly dark by the time I get home these days. Instead of turning on my boring standard lights, I'd love to have something inspiring hanging above me. So that's why the other day I set out on a mission to find different lighting options. My favorites - number one and three, but of course I'd rather find out which one you adore?

fireplace: which one do you adore?

With fall weather in full swing all I can think about is how I will be staying warm throughout the cool months ahead. A fireplace is the perfect solution and also a beautiful accent in any home. Of course, there are so many different styles to choose from - traditional to modern. So I'd like to know, which one would you like in your home? Seems like a simple question, but I'm always torn between number four and six.

loft space: which one do you adore?

Let's be honest, all of us dream about living in a loft at some point in our lives with sky high ceilings, open space, and big lofty windows. Well, Mrs. E is going to be living that dream for all of us in a little over a month. As we began talking about her decor inspiration I came across so many different directions we could take the space - either stick with neutrals for a super clean and sleek look, or go a little more colorful and modern. There are really so many different styles she look at for inspiration. So, I've rounded up some of my favorite loft spaces to see which you adore the most. I can't wait to hear what you all think.

On another note, each week I create this series and I'd love to hear from you - what rooms or areas of rooms would you like to see featured in the next few weeks?

foyer: which one do you adore?

The foyer is the room that greets you as soon as you step through the front door of any home. This space often gets neglected but it shouldn't be because your foyer is usually where first impressions are made. When you walk into a home the first thing you see is the foyer - it sets the mood for the entire home. In our home we went for a simple understated look with a round chocolate wood table and a french bistro chair. Whatever the size of your foyer, you should make the most of it!

How would you decorate your entryway? Chime in!

mantle: which one do you adore?

While I was in Carmel this past weekend I was in awe of my aunt and uncles renovated home because they still get to work with a blank canvas. All I could think of were the design possibilities that they have in their future. One of my favorite new elements is the large family room, which has a beautiful fireplace and with it's minimalist mantle it was perfection. It got me thinking about what I would do if I had a mantle - would I keep it minimalist or make it more personal with a bunch of flea market treasures? I'm not quite sure, but there are so many possibilities. How would you decorate your mantle? Or if you have one, how did you decorate it? Chime in!
